Well since I was at the upstart workshop that Justin presented it all boils down to traffic. Seriously I mean when you even look for a market you base your decision on traffic. How much traffic is another question you need to ask and is the traffic targeted to that keyword.

So all in all Traffic is your online life line no traffic no website. This is what most “Gurus” neglect to tell you, they all show you how easy it is to make $2,000.00 a day and add a picture of their clickbank account.

Most of them will never tell you that the website has been up and running for 6 months to a year and been building some backlinks and related articles on the topic. Oh did you not get that memo? Sorry to hear they just show all of us how money greedy we are and we all just want the freakin money and forget there is a process to get to it.

I was reading an interesting blog post about “Blogging Is Dead” please note the irony in that statement. In the article the guy talks about getting 1.5 million unique visitors a month and only making $1,000 in ad revenue. This guy is an idiot if you ask me. He was writing about something he loves which is fine but how long did it take him to realise that it does not pay the bills. He needs to be more targeted in his topic and the traffic does not need to be 1.5 million unique visitors. It could just be 1,000 unique visitors and make 10 times the money he makes on his love for “Steve Jobs and Apple.”

Yes there is always a thin line between too little traffic and too much traffic. All I can say is the traffic you are getting needs to be targeted. So do not go off and submit your site to a service that promises you 1 million unique visitors for $200.00 per month. You need to become very specific in the traffic you are aiming for.

It sure has been a while since I have done a post I do apologise been rather busy of late, no more excuses you will be hearing from me more often I promise.

Today’s topic is “Finding a Niche” sounds simple enough and it must be, so why does everyone make it sound so complex?Well I think the real reason is if, they make it sound simple enough they could not make money out of it. There is always someone trying to make some money from leading the “knowledge seekers” such as yourselves astray. This always pisses me off since I too have been lead astray far too many times. Spent lots of hard earned money on the “Next Big Thing”

So everyone tells you what a niche is but no one tells you where to find it or how to do it properly. I too was just going online doing keyword research and trying various markets out. Sometimes the way one goes about it is just not right. Luckily I have found a method that will help you definetly find a market, because there is a system in place. It does not matter whether I do it or you do it, we could both get different results but at least the results are correct and you will be able to profit off it.

Now I have come across two things that will make this possible, but it will also mean you will have to spend some money. This means that the money you are spending is more of an investment in yourself. I personally use both these products with great success that is why I am telling you about it.

Firstly Read this ebook called Niche Attack but I do warn you there is a lot of links and information on that ebook but do not buy anything in the book at all. Just read it and understand what the guy is saying. But I do recommend you join FindHotMarkets for $34.95 once off fee where you have access to a members area for life and they update it regulary. This website has taught me a lot of ways to find a market out there and boy oh boy are there many.

Secondly the next product is called MicroNicheFinder this is an amazing product and what is totally awesome about it that there is only a once off joining fee of $97 and that is it will always stay uptodate and you will need to view the videos below to understand how powerful this program is. It basically does finds the keywords and how many people are looking for it and competition on that keyword.

This was also a very hmmm serious podcast, compared to the last one. But I think it was more about putting everything in perspective, so everyone can understand.

I really do not like people who promote Internet Marketing for a living. Because 9 times out of 10 they do not own a single product outside the Internet Marketing Niche. Now with the Google Keyword Tool you have narrowed down your keywords on the advice that Justin gave on the podcast. Then take the keyword you have done research on and punch it in Google Trends. But what I have decided to do is have this video below show you exactly what I mean by how powerful this tool can really be!

Ok before you go off at me about we(South Africans) can not get a Paypal account. There are ways and means to get one if you really want one. Just going to take some time,effort and little bit of money. Please remember I did a bit of homework regarding this subject and came up with the best information I think that could help fellow South African Internet Marketers.
